My first exposure to bioengineering was in my Forensics and Biotech class taught by Mr. Mark Okuda at Silver Creek High. I'm particularly fascinated by medical diagnostics and microfluidics. My current goals include: learning more methods in microfluidic device fabrication, integrating microfluidic techonology with point of care diagnostics, and having at least one publication before I graduate.
